Join ASTHO along with faculty and staff from George Washington University for a symposium to commemorate the 100th anniversary of one of the deadliest pandemics in human history. The beautiful Milken School of Public Health will be the location for the reception, symposium and live webcast. The symposium will focus on the value, role, and impact of state and territorial health agencies in preparing for and responding to influenza epidemics and pandemics. This will be a thoughtful discussion on current perspectives of America’s Biosecurity among industry leaders, researchers and state health officials.
ASTHO will provide bus transportation for this event and George Washington University is easily accessible via the metro. You will be sure to enjoy the session followed by dinner and an evening in downtown DC.
