Increasing Contraceptive Access: Kicking off Pharmacist-Prescribed Contraception in Delaware

When:  Sep 26, 2024 from 09:30 AM to 03:30 PM (ET)

ASTHO’s Contraception Access Learning Community, in collaboration with the Delaware Division of Public Health and the Delaware Board of Pharmacy, will host an in-person meeting focused on supporting implementation of the state’s pharmacist-prescribed contraception (PPC) program. This event will provide useful background information on the legislation and regulatory steps taken for PPC in DE thus far. Facilitated small and large group discussions will result in clear action steps needed for the various components of this program, including training, resources, and payment for pharmacists, as well as consumer support and awareness methods.

Continental breakfast and boxed lunch will be provided at this event. Registration and breakfast will begin at 9:30 a.m. ET and the event will start promptly at 10 a.m. ET. A limited number of rooms are available to reserve at the Hilton (for individuals who live further away from the meeting space) at no extra cost to the attendee. Please indicate in your registration if you would like to reserve a room and a representative from ASTHO will reach out to coordinate that reservation.
