According to the CDC, contact tracing is an effective tool in slowing the transmission of COVID-19 through the early identification, assessment, and isolation of individuals who may have been exposed to the disease. Contact tracers can be employed by public health agencies at the local, state, and federal levels. They call and gather information from those who may have been exposed to COVID-19 and communicate appropriate guidelines to help those affected and limit the spread
