Ignite, Accelerate, and Activate: Series 3, Session 2: Improving Emotional Intelligence

This series, “Activate: Your Leadership EQ and Professionalism Skills,” will equip leaders with the skills necessary to become a more self-aware and empathetic leader, and emphasize the impact emotional intelligence has on organizational success.

In session two of our series, “Improving and Enhancing Emotional Intelligence,” you will learn about the actions and practical tools that can help build a culture of emotional intelligence within teams. You will be introduced to the habits of an effective people leader, how to lead with empathy, and how to enable respectful, effective, and creative collaboration within your team. 

Participants will:

• Identify the fundamental concepts of emotional intelligence and how they impact successful leadership and management.
• Learn how to develop strong people skills for workplace teams.
• Practice ways to expand influence and credibility by developing the ability to respond skillfully as pressures increase.
• Utilize techniques for guiding teams, gaining greater empathy and understanding needed to create an environment of psychological safety.
