ASTHO, along with The National Alliance for Radiation Readiness (NARR), is hosting a webinar to increase member awareness of NARR’s role in radiation readiness and share how members can engage with the alliance. NARR is a coalition of public health, healthcare, and emergency management organizations. These organizations represent practitioners in the field of radiation preparedness, including state and local public health practitioners, state and local elected officials, and first responder and receiver groups. Federal agency representatives also participate in the alliance as liaison members. Over the last several years, membership turnover has been an issue within NARR. Many radiation readiness professionals have transitioned to new jobs or retired. With that in mind, this webinar will provide an overview of NARR’s role in national readiness, and it will showcase several communication methods its members can use to connect and share information. This is an invite-only event and is offered to all NARR member organizations and federal partners.
