Rural Health Partnership-Building

Based on your recent work addressing rural health equity, ASTHO invites you to an in-person meeting, held in partnership with HRSA Federal Office of Rural Health Policy, CDC’s Office of Rural Health, and the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health.

This invitation-only meeting will celebrate the work done as part of the CDC OT21-2103 Health Equity initiative. Throughout this event, attendees will:

• Discuss facilitators and barriers to implementing the rural carveout.
• Learn from organizations about some of their successes during the implementation of the CDC COVID-19 Health Disparities grant rural carveout.
• Build connections among State Office of Rural Health directors, state health agency staff, and federal partners.
• Share how the rural carveout made a difference in states and communities.
