Empowering Practices: A Hands On Workshop on LARC Care and Client Centered Contraceptive Counseling

ASTHO’s Contraception Access Learning Community, in collaboration with Texas HHSC, Healthy Futures of Texas, Every Body Texas, and the Texas Women’s Healthcare Coalition, is excited to invite you to a hands-on, in-person training focused on person-centered contraception counseling and long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) care.

At the end of this event, attendees will:

• Be able to describe key components of client-centered contraceptive counseling
• Have increased knowledge and comfort of the insertion and removal of LARCs, including IUDs and implants
• Identify ways to incorporate client-centered contraceptive practices into LARC care
