This session will highlight how the report was developed and ways that state health departments can leverage promising policies and practices to advance brain health and support caregivers. Participants will hear examples of current innovative policy initiatives and explore how the report’s recommendations can be put into action. Additionally, participants will learn about an exciting opportunity to participate in an ASTHO-led learning community aimed to assist states in their efforts of promoting brain health and supporting caregivers.
This webinar will feature ASTHO staff who led the report’s development, along with Rachel Coney-Bowles from the Virginia Department of Health. Rachel, a leader in healthy aging and brain health, played a vital role in informing the report’s content and will share valuable insights on using the report to drive action at the state level.
