Drug Free Communities: Preventing Fentanyl-Related Harms for Youth and Communities

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) are pleased to announce the upcoming Drug Free Communities (DFC) convening featuring field experts to discuss fentanyl and youth substance use prevention. DFC coalitions and their partners are invited to participate in this half day, virtual event on Wednesday, Oct. 18 to learn about fentanyl in the current overdose landscape, messaging fentanyl risks to youth, and DFC success stories from peers.  

A final agenda with more details on presentations and presenters will be shared closer to the event date.
